Jason McBride is a financial services executive, entrepreneur and commercial lending professional with more than two decades of experience in banking, commercial finance, real estate lending and strategic financial advisory.
Throughout his career, Jason has developed a deep understanding of the challenges business owners, entrepreneurs and real estate investors face in accessing capital. His background in traditional banking gives him a unique perspective on credit underwriting, risk management and structuring complex financial transactions.
In 2021, Jason founded Focus Lending Inc. to provide financing solutions beyond the limitations of conventional banking. Recognizing that many viable businesses and investment opportunities are underserved by traditional institutions, he built a lending platform around relationships, creative capital structures and access to an extensive network of banks, institutional lenders and private capital providers.
Under Jason’s leadership, Focus Lending specializes in SBA Lending, Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Financing, Commercial Real Estate and Private Bridge Lending — helping borrowers navigate complex financing challenges and find capital solutions tailored to their objectives.
Building on that foundation, Jason expanded the Focus family of companies with Focus Home Mortgage Inc. and Focus DSCR Inc., creating complementary lending platforms for homeowners, business owners and real estate investors.
As President and CEO of Focus Home Mortgage, Jason leads a residential mortgage company focused on simplifying home financing — particularly for entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals and borrowers whose finances may not fit traditional underwriting models. An experienced mortgage operations team pairs personalized service with the infrastructure to support continued growth.
As co-founder of Focus DSCR, Jason helps direct the growth of a specialized investment property lending platform offering debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) loans, fix-and-flip financing and other investor-focused mortgage products. His long-term vision includes expanding its lending capabilities and building a scalable, technology-driven mortgage platform.
Together, the three companies reflect Jason’s commitment to building a comprehensive financial services organization that addresses the diverse capital needs of businesses, homeowners and real estate investors.
His leadership emphasizes integrity, accountability and long-term relationships — and a fundamental belief that financing should be structured around the merits of the opportunity, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
